During the theater’s summer break, the box office, telephone ticket sales, and the subscription office will be closed from August 1 through August 31, 2026. Written orders will continue to be processed. You can also continue to purchase tickets online.

Several times a season, the Bayerische Staatsballett offers 75-minute themed tours with a focus on ballet. After a brief general overview of the history of the Bayerische Staatsoper, visitors learn interesting facts about the founding of the Munich ensemble, get an insight into the dancers' everyday life and may also take a look at the training rooms of the ballet rehearsal house at Platzl 7 - including a short rehearsal visit if possible.
