During the theater’s summer break, the box office, telephone ticket sales, and the subscription office will be closed from August 1 through August 31, 2026. Written orders will continue to be processed. You can also continue to purchase tickets online.

The Munich Opera Festival 2027 opens in truly glamorous style: from Tuesday, 22 June to Thursday, 24 June 2027, the Bayerisches Staatsballett will present the ballet gala Glanzlichter at the Prinzregententheater on three evenings. To mark the end of the season, the programme brings together selected shorter works from the classical, neoclassical and modern repertoire. In addition to dancers from the Bayerisches Staatsballett, international guests will also take to the stage to provide festive highlights at the start of the festival.
The programme will be announced during the 2026/27 season.
