To kick off Ja, Mai, we look at the literary work of Händl Klaus, the librettist of the operas Thomas and Bluthaus, which revolves around mourning and night, love and death, and not only in the festival's two plays. Actresses from the ensembles of the Münchner Kammerspiele and the Münchner Volkstheater read from the work of the writer and playwright, while Händl Klaus himself looks at his artistic practice in conversation.
