Carollina Bastos awarded with the Kunstförderpreis!

Ensemble member Carollina Bastos was granted the award „Kunstförderpreis - Darstellende Kunst inklusive Tanz“ (award for the promotion of arts - performing arts incl. dance). The award is granted each year by  Bavarian State Minister of Arts Bernd Sibler and honours exceptionally talented young artists. zeichnet außergewöhnlich begabte junge Nachwuchskünstler:innen aus. Brazilian Carollina Bastos trained at the Ballet Academy of the University for Music and the Performig Arts Munich and gathered stage experiences during the Matinees of the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung at Nationaltheater. With the beginning of the 2016/17 season, she joined the Bayerisches Staatsballett as a trainee. Since the season 2018/19 she dances as a corps de ballet member. She recently danced the solo couple in Rubies/Jewels together with Shale Wagman and danced „fall“ in the four seasons in the Cinderella premiere. Congratulations, Carollina!
