Carollina Bastos

Soloist

Brazilian-born Carollina Bastos trained at the Ballet Academy of the University for Music and the Performig Arts Munich. She was awarded 1st prize at Seoul International Ballet Competition 2013, 2nd prize at Boston International Ballet Competition 2012, 1st prize at Conselho Brasileiro de Dança (Repertoire, Special prize 2013) and 1st prize as well as Best Classical Dancer distinction at Festival Internacional de Dança de Cabo Frio (2008-2013 ).
With the beginning of the 2016/17 season, she joined the Bayerisches Staatsballett as a trainee, in season 2018/19 she became as a corps de ballet member. In 2021 she was awarded the Bavarian Arts Promotion Prize for her outstanding artistic work in classical and contemporary ballet productions. Per January 1st, 2023, Laurent Hilaire promoted her to Demi-Soloist, and then, on the Opening Night of La Sylphide (November 22, 204) to Soloist.
