Léonard Engel

Soloist

Léonard Engel was born in Mulhouse / France and was trained at the Paris Opera Ballet School. In his last year at the Ballet Academy he danced in Cinderella at the Paris Opera Ballet. Then he was engaged for three seasons at the Victor Ullate Ballet Madrid.

He was engaged at the Bavarian State Ballet in the season 2008/2009 as a member of the Corps de ballet, promoted to Soloist rank in July 2012 and to First Soloist rank with the beginning of the season 2014/2015.

With the end of the season 2015/2016, Léonard Engel has left the Bayerisches Staatsballett.
