Fiona Evans
Soloist
Fiona Evans was born in Sale (Australia) and trained by Terri Charlesworth at the Graduate College of Dance, before joining the Ballettakademie/Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung in Munich. She was then an apprentice at the Bavarian State Ballet in season 1996-97 and joined the company as Corps de ballet dancer one year later.
She danced solo parts, e. g. the Djampe-dance in La Bayadere (P. Bart) and Olympia in TheLady of the Camellias (J. Neumeier). She left the company for half a year to work in Japan and returned in january 2003 to Munich. Her repertoire includes the girlfriends in Raymonda (R. Barra), the little swans in Swan Lake (R. Barra) and After Dark of Jacopo Godani, to name just a few. The season 2003-04 saw her debuts as Fairy Canarie qui chante and as Princess Florine in The Sleeping Beauty (M. Petipa/I. Liska). Fiona Evans was appointed second soloist in July 2004.
