Moritz Junge
Costume Designer
Moritz Junge was born in Stuttgart in 1975. After an apprenticeship as a tailor, he continued his studies at the Berlin University of the Arts before coming to London to complete his MA in stage and costume design at the Slade School of Fine Art under the direction of Philip Prowse and Yolanda Sonnabend. In 2001 he was the overall winner of the Linbury Prize - the most prestigious British award for graduates in stage design. Since then, Moritz Junge has designed costumes not only for renowned ballet companies but also for drama and opera productions.
