Mai Kono


Mai Kono, born in Japan, started her dance education at the Hitomi Kikuchi Ballet Studio, and completed it at the Heinz-Bosl-Stiftung in Munich. From the season 2007/2008, she was a Corps de ballet dancer with the Bayerisches Staatsballett and promoted to Soloist rank with the beginning of the 2011/2012 season.

With the end of the season 2016/2017, Mai Kono has left the Bayerisches Staatsballett.
