Robert Reimer has made successful debuts in recent years at such major opera houses as the Bayerische Staatsopoer, the Berlin State Opera, the German Opera Berlin, the Royal Opera Copenhagen, the Finnish National Opera, the Norwegian National Opera Oslo, the Gran Teatro del Liceu in Barcelona, the Grand Théatre de Genêve, the Copenhagen Opera Festival and the Stuttgart State Opera. He has conducted operas such as Tristan und Isolde, Der Freischütz, Eugene Onegin, Katja Kabánova, Manon or The Magic Flute and ballets such as Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Peer Gynt, Jewels, Bayadère or Don Quixote. Robert Reimer conducted a concert performance of Tristan und Isolde, which was recorded by the Navona Records label with the Janacek Philharmonic Orchestra in Poland. . In 2018, he conducted the world premiere of Frédéric Ledroit's St John Passion at the Philharmonie Ludwigshafen with the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Ludwigshafen, the European Chamber Choir and international soloists. This St John Passion is available on CD since 2019 on the French label Skarbo. Robert Reimer most recently celebrated his successful debut at the Vienna State Opera. There he conducted a ballet premiere of the Vienna State Ballet with a world premiere by Martin Schläpfer and music by Shostakovich (15th Symphony in A major) as well as Balanchine's choreography of Strawinsky's Symphony in 3 movements. Before that he was in Hong Kong, where he directed a new production of Balanchine's Jewels.
