Leonid Sarafanov

Leonid SarafonovPrize-winner at the International Rudolf Nureyev Ballet Competition (Budapest, 2000), and at competitions in Paris (2000), Moscow (2001) and Seoul (2004).
Was awarded the International Benois de la danse prize in 2006 as well as the Spirit of Dance prize in the category "Star" by Ballet magazine. Born in Kiev.
Graduated from the Kiev State School of Choreography in 2000 and was engaged as a soloist with the National Ballet of Ukraine the same year. Mariinsky Theatre soloist since 2002. Repertoire includes:
