During the theater’s summer break, the box office, telephone ticket sales, and the subscription office will be closed from August 1 through August 31, 2026. Written orders will continue to be processed. You can also continue to purchase tickets online.

On 6 May 2023, the Bayerische Staatsoper will open its doors to all night owls and offer a glimpse behind the scenes. As part of the Long Night of Music 2023, ticket holders can secure a ticket for the evening performance of Nabucco by Giuseppe Verdi from a limited number of tickets or register for one of the night tours.
After the performance, from around 10:15 p.m., the house opens to all and invites you to stroll through the Königssaal and be surprised by a musical programme.
