APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Applications for vacant positions in the Statatsorchester and the Hermann Levi Academy - unless otherwise stated - should be uploaded to muvac with the usual documents (cover letter, curriculum vitae in tabular form and, in the case of the Orchestra Academy, please do not forget to include your date of birth, certificates if applicable).

If requested, please send copies of your documents (as they cannot be returned) to:

For data protection reasons, please always send applications by e-mail in the PDF format.
Please do not send us links to cloud providers, but rather direct attachments in an e-mail only.

Please note: The application deadline is always about two months before the posted audition date.

All applications for a position will be deleted after a successful audition.
No applications will be saved! Please only apply again when the position is advertised again.

HERMANN LEVI ACADEMY APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

With applications for the Bayerisches Staatsorchester’s Hermann Levi Academy please note:
●    Applicants must still be 25 when the scholarship begins.
●    Application requirement – completed higher education or comparable training level
●    Monthly scholarship of EUR 1,000
●    Training period – two years

Training includes:
●    Up to ten orchestral duties per month (opera, concert, ballet)
●    Weekly instrumental lessons
●    Regular workshops and one-on-one classes in “mental training” with graduate psychologist Ulrike Klees
●    Two or three chamber concerts per season
●    Baroque workshops
