Festival Night Concert: OPERcussion
Festival Night Concert: OPERcussion

In the festival concert, OPERcussion tells the story of two people's journey through Latin America. In Europe, a young American woman and a young Spanish man meet; as she moves on to Latin America, he follows her footsteps, at times getting closer to her and then losing sight of her again, until he finally reaches her. Told in popular and authentic songs and original compositions, the program explores Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, Chile and Brazil, with titles such as Besame mucho, Guantanamera, A Night in Tunisia and La Muerte del Angel. Full of emotion and passion. For this "Latin American Diary," OPERcussion has invited soprano Juliana Zara and tenor Álvaro Zambrano as guest soloists. The evening will be hosted by ensemble member Kevin Conners.
