Tommaso Beneventi

Tommaso was born in Rome, Italy, where he began his ballet training at the age of nine at the Scuola di Danza del Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. At the age of eleven he was accepted at the Ecole de Danse de l'Opéra National de Paris. In 2015, he received a full scholarship to San Francisco Ballet School, where he completed his training and entered the trainee programme in 2017. From September 2018 to April 2019, he was a member of the Joffrey Studio Company (Junior Company of the Joffrey Ballet) in Chicago. In May 2019, Tommaso joined Royal Swedish Ballet in Stockholm. Other performances include the opening of the Spoleto Festival 2019 in a dance gala with Eleonora Abbagnato & i talenti italiani nel mondo (Danse Macabre: choreography by F. Ventriglia), the Nervi Music Ballet Festival 2021 (Stravinsky's Petrushka: choreography by L. Massine) or the 74a Estate Teatrale Veronese and Nervi Music Ballet Festival 2022 (Rainbow, Love & Peace: choreography by G. Mancini). At the beginning of the 2023/24 season,Tommaso Beneventi joined Bayerisches Staatsballett as a member of the corps de ballet.
