Jason Fowler
Répétiteur and Ballet Master
Jason Fowler started his ballet training in Dallas, Texas, at the Dallas Ballet Academy. He entered the School of American Ballet, the official school of New York City Ballet. He was invited to join the company in April of 1996 and was promoted to soloist in 2006. In addition to his vast corps de ballet roles with NYCB, Jason Fowler performed soloist and principal roles in Bigonzetti´s Vespro, Balanchine´s Divertimento No. 15, Scotch Symphony, Agon, Symphony in C, The Four Temperaments, La Valse and Chaconne, and Christopher Wheeldon´s Polyphonia, among many of his other works. Since 2010, Jason Fowler has staged ballets for Christopher Wheeldon at the Royal Ballet, New Yor City Ballet, Paris Opera, Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Miami City Ballet, Ballet Arizona, Australian Ballet, Royal Swedish Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet, Rome Opera Ballet, Hong Kong Ballet, Karlsruhe Ballet, The National Ballet of Japan, Joffrey Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, Bavarian State Ballet, National Ballet of Canada and the Mariinsky Ballet. In addition to beein a répétiteur, Jason Fowler is the President of the Dance Council of North Texas.
