Oliver Haller
Associate costume designer
Oliver Haller studied at the Charles Montaigne Fashion Academy in Amsterdam and at the Royal Academy of Arts in The Hague. After his studies he worked for Joop van den Ende Theatre Productions, the Salzburg Festival, the director Peter Sellars and De Nationale Opera. Since May 2003 he has been head of the costume department of the Dutch National Ballet. In addition to this position, he has designed costumes for Moving Rooms, Dumbarton and Sheherazade by Krzysztof Pastor, Body by Ted Brandsen, the 2014 redesign of Kwintet by Hans van Manen and Minos, Consequence, Roulette, Blink and Homo Ludens by Juanjo Arques, among others. In recent years he has done many designs for the Junior Company. As one of the initiators, he is still a member of the advisory board of the master school for tailors in Amsterdam (Meesteropleiding Coupeur).
