Dmitry Mayboroda
Dmitry Mayboroda studied in Moscow at the Tschaikowsky Conservatory and at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Munich with Professor Adrian Oetiker. He is currently completing his training with Heinrich Neuhaus student Boris Petrushansky at the Accademia Pianistica Internazionale Incontri col Maestro in Imola (Italy). He won numerous competitions, including the International Franz Liszt Competition for Young Pianists in Moscow 2010 (Grand Prix) and the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in Japan 2015 (semi-final). As audience favourite he also won the 2nd prize at the Concurso Internacional de Piano Premio Jaén in Andalusia in April 2017. One year later he received the Steinway Förderpreis Klassik Munich, as well as the audience award at the competition ""Concert for young artists"" of the Cultural Association in Ingolstadt.
He participated in international music festivals, including the Rheingau Festival, the International Piano Art Festival in Antalya, the Ravinia Festival in the USA and the Winter Festival in Brazil. As a soloist he has performed with various symphony and chamber orchestras, including the Moscow Tschaikowsky Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino, the Orchestre national de Belgique, the Moroccan Royal Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. For the Bayerisches Staatsballett he has already performed in Anna Karenina, The Lady of the Camellias, Paradigma: With a Chance of Rain and Jewels. With the beginning of the 2020/21 season Dmitry Mayboroda works as a ballet pianist permanently.
