Emilio Pavan

Principal

Emilio Pavan grew up in Newscastle, Australia, where he was born in 1993. He started dancing at Newcastle Dance Academy. At the age of 16 he became a student at the Australian Ballet School in Melbourne. After graduating he joined the Queensland Ballet in Brisbane in 2013. In 2015 he became a member of the English National Ballet. In 2017/18 Emilio Pavan joined the Bayerisches Staatsballett as a soloist and was promoted to first Soloist in the following season. From September 2019, he danced as Principal until the end of the 2022/23 season.
