Daniella Venter

Daniella Venter was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. She started pursuing her dreams of ballet at 4 years old, training in local ballet schools until she joined a pre-professional ballet school at 15. In addition to this, she was selected to be part of the Joburg Ballet Company’s Academy, where the students work closely with the company members and ballet masters. There she experienced performing with the professional ballet company in Giselle, Don Quixote, Carmen, Cinderella, and Snow White. In 2020 she completed school in South Africa and was accepted into Staatliche Ballettschule Berlin where she graduated in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in stage dance. Here she had numerous opportunities to perform, including dancing the role of Giselle in the school’s annual gala on the stage of the Staatsoper Berlin. During this time she enjoyed working with many experienced choreographers and ballet professionals, in the school and at summer intensives. She starts her professional career with Bayerisches Staatsballet as a corps de ballet member in the 2023/2024 season.
