Intercultural Music Project & Festival Concert ATTACCA
On July 26, 2026, the Gasteig hp8 will become the venue for a special musical encounter: KISOBOKA – Everything Is Possible brings together young musicians from Uganda and Germany. The highlight will be a joint concert featuring brass soloists from Brass for Africa—teachers from the LAB UGANDA (MUSIC CONNECTS) project—alongside ATTACCA, the youth orchestra of the Bayerische Staatsoper.
Kisoboka (Luganda: “Everything Is Possible”) is both an artistic program and a philosophy. In the form of a concerto grosso, music becomes a dialogue: between soloists and orchestra, between continents and musical languages, and between different educational realities. The symphonic sound ideal of a European youth orchestra meets the rhythmic, emotional expressiveness of African brass ensembles – on equal footing and in a lively exchange.
Before the concert, a diverse day of activities will take place, featuring workshops, a photo exhibition, a film screening, and performances by students. Discover rhythms from Uganda, experience music education through moving images, and engage in conversation with the artists.
