Jamie Constance started dancing at the age of 11 in his hometown Padstow in Cornwall, UK in the upstairs of a pub. After a year of training he danced with the Duchy Ballet, a youth company in Cornwall. Here the young dancers performed classics and brought ballet to the county where ballet was rarely performed. He trained privately with Terrence Etheridge, a former London Festival Ballet Soloist. After three years Jamie Constance trained at Truro College on the Extended Level three Diploma in dance for two years. He studied ballet, release, Cunningham and jazz. He was then accepted into the English National Ballet School on the Professional Trainee Program where he worked with Zenaida Yanowsky, Ivan Putrov, Deirdre Chapman, Angela Towler, Didy Veldman and Ibrahim Onal. During this year he performed the Principal Boy in Juan Eymar’s new ballet Holberg Suite and performed in Geneva, Switzerland.
