Zhanna Gubanova

Zhanna Gubanova was born in 1996 in Simferopol, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Ukraine). In 2006 she entered the State Choreographic School in Kiev. She graduated in 2014 in the class of Doldih Z.G. During her studies she took part in numerous competitions and received several awards. Her repertoire includes the female title roles in ballets such as Romeo and Juliet, Giselle, Beauty and the Beast or The Snow Maiden. She has also danced Klara (The Nutcracker), the Serenade Variation from the Suite en blanc by Serge Lifar, The Second Detail by William Forsythe and Autodance by Sharon Eyal. From 2014 to 2016 she was engaged by the Kremlin Ballet and subsequently danced at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatres as a leading soloist from 2016 to 2022. Zhanna Gubanova has been dancing in the corps de ballet at the Bavarian State Ballet since the 2023-24 season.

2013 - Gold Medal at the Delphi Games in the Classical Ballet category (Novosibirsk, Russia)
2013 - The diploma for professional performance and participation in the second round of the XII International Competition in Moscow (Moscow, Russia)
