Luca Massara´s training began at the age of 7 at Classical Ballet Theater in Herndon Virginia for 4 years before transitioning to training at Skye Ballet Center and later at Michigan Ballet Academy under Nikoloz Makhateli where he performed lead roles such as Cavalier in Nutcracker and Colas in La Fille Mal Gardée. He started to dance at Grand Rapids Ballet Junior Company for the next two years, where he trained and danced the lead role in Beauty and the Beast as the Beast. Throughout his years of training, he attended summer intensives at San Francisco Ballet School, Boston Ballet School and School of American Ballet all on full scholarship. He joined the Royal Ballet School in 2019 as a second year after being scouted from the summer intensive. Luca Massara has been engaged as a volunteer at the Bavarian State Ballet for the start of the 2021-22 season.
