Galeano Salas
Galeano Salas studied at the University of Houston before he continued his studies at Yale University in Connecticut and earned his artist diploma at the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia. He is the winner of numerous competitions and awards including the Gerda Lissner Foundation International Voice Competition, the Young Texas Artists Music Competition and the American Prize Competition. He has performed the roles of the Italian Singer (Capriccio), Il duca di Mantua (Rigoletto), Rodolfo (La bohème) and the title role in Werther on stage and sang Bach’s Cantata No. 42, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Mozart’s Requiem and Handel’s Messiah.
