The 5th Academy Concert celebrates soloists from our own ranks, seven of them at once - namely in Mozart's Concerto for Flute and Harp and in the Sinfonia concertante for oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon; also taking part is the soprano Hanna-Elisabeth Müller, who began her career first in the Opera Studio and then as an ensemble member of the Bayerische Staatsoper and continues to have an almost family connection with this house. New to the Academy Concerts is the Czech conductor Robert Jindra, who will take up his position as music director of the National Theatre in Prague in September 2022 - no more fitting piece could conclude his programme than Mozart's Prague Symphony.
