Granit Musliu
Granit Musliu, born in Mitrovica/Kosovo, received his vocal training at the University of Pristina and since 2019 at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg with Geert Smits and Caroline Merz. As a soloist, he has performed regularly with the Kosovo Philharmonic Orchestra and most recently with the Deutsche Rhein-Philharmonie and has given concerts in Albania, Italy and Germany under the baton of Noorman Widjaja. His repertoire includes Don Basilio and Don Curzio (Le nozze di Figaro). He has been awarded, among others, the Grand Prix of the Ars Kosova Competition, the 2nd prize of the Hamburg Mozart Prize 2020 and the 2nd prize of the Jorgija Truja Competition with an invitation to a master class with Anna Pirozzi. Since the 2021/22 season he is a member of the Opera Studio of the Bayerische Staatsoper. Parts in the 2022/23 season: Liverotto (Lucrezia Borgia), Brabant Nobleman (Lohengrin), Servant of Amelia (Un ballo in maschera), Parpignol (La bohème), Adjutant of Prince Eugène (War and Peace), Roderigo (Otello), An Officer (Ariadne auf Naxos), and Commissaire (Dialogues des Carmélites).
