Soren Sakadales

Demi-Soloist

Soren hails from San Francisco, California and began his training at the age of fifteen at Canada’s National Ballet School. There he was introduced to a broad range of repertoire and performed in contemporary works by choreographers such as Nacho Duato (Cor Perdut), Inara Wheeler (Wir Sind) and Jerah Wolfe (Arise). Soren also danced classical variations from Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty, Sylvia and Bournonville’s ballet pantomime Napoli. Soren Sakadales joined Bayerisches Junior Ballett München in January 2022, at first as a Heinz Bosl Foundation scholarship holder and then as a trainee of Bayerisches Staatsballett in the 2022/23 season. At the beginning of the 2023/24 season, he became a member of the corps de ballet at Bayerisches Staatsballett. On 2 November 2025, after the revival performance of John Neumeier's ballet The Nutcracker, Soren Sakadales was appointed demi-soloist by ballet director Laurent Hilaire.
