After graduating from the Vaganova Ballet Academy in Irina Sitnikova's studio in 2012, Ksenia Shevtsova was engaged as a soloist at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre Ballet in Moscow. In the third season of the competition format ‘БОЛЬШОЙ БАЛЕТ’ produced by the television channel ‘Россия Культура’ in 2018, she was awarded the prize in the ‘Best Ballerina’ category. In 2019, she was awarded the ‘Душа танца’ (Soul of Dance) prize by the magazine ‘Балет’. In 2019, she was appointed prima ballerina at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Music Theatre. In December 2023, Ksenia joined Bayerisches Staatsballett as a soloist. She was promoted to principal at the beginning of the 2024/25 season.
