On Wednesday, 1 November 2023, World Ballet Day will take place. On the occasion of this day, top companies around the globe will offer insights into their daily work via (live)streams. This year, the Bayerisches Staatsballett is participating for the fifth time with the following programme on the YouTube channel of the Bayerische Staatsoper from 12 PM until around 3.20 PM CET:

At the beginning, training with ballet mistress  Judith Turos and Simon Murray at the piano will be shown. The dancers Jakob Feyferlik and Ana Gonçalves will moderate. In addition, dramaturge Serge Honegger talks with ballet director Laurent Hilaire about the upcoming premiere of Angelin Preljocaj's Le Parc. After the training, there will be exclusive insights into the rehearsals for Le Parc, which will be led by Laurent Hilaire. Rehearsals will include the first act with the corps de ballet and a pas de deux with Madison Young and Julian MacKay.

Recordings took place in October 2023 and will be released on 1 November 2023 according to the World Ballet Day.
