Preview of the premiere of Spheres.02 ׀ Preljocaj by the Bayerisches Staatsballett at the Cuvilliés-Theater on 18 July 2024. In the Salon Luitpold on 5 July 2024 at 19:00, the four dancers Dani Gibson, Jasmine Henry, Margaret Whyte and Daniella Venter will talk about their collaboration with choreographer Edouard Hue. Hue is currently rehearsing the world premiere of Skinny Hearts with the ensemble. The discussion will focus on the difference between classical and contemporary dance languages, the dancers' creative contribution to the rehearsal process and their personal view of the contemporary ballet world. After the talk, there will be an opportunity to talk to the artists and ask questions.
The talk will be held mainly in English, with some passages translated into German.
