There are no pine needles or tinsel here, but it will indeed be very Christmassy. What started last year as an Advent season experiment will be bringing people together again this winter. The Opera Studio of the Bayerische Staatsoper and the Hermann-Levi-Academy of the Bayerisches Staatsorchester, together with Brainlab, invite you to a Christmas concert of a different kind. The concert takes place at Brainlab headquarters on December 14 and 15, 2023 at 7:30 PM.
Before the concert, come warm up for a night of music and singing with a Glühwein at our Xmas Get-Together Christmas market - Food and drinks are included in your ticket price. Afterwards, members of the International Opera Studio, accompanied by the Orchestra Academy, will present Christmas songs from their home countries, as well as highlights from each festive season. Enjoy a warm and cozy atmosphere as well as some unexpected surprises, enriched by projections from video and performance artist Manuela Hartel and staged by director Catharina von Bülow.
