Robin Strona
Demi-Soloist
Robin Strona was born in Italy and started his training at the Ritmodanza private school in Cossato. In 2008, he joined the Scuola del Balletto di Toscana and later the Accademia della Scala, Milan. In 2011, he danced with the Royal Ballet of Flanders. In the season 2012/13, he was a member of the Zurich Ballet. Afterwards, he joined the Bayerisches Staatsballet from season 2013/14 through season 2016/17 as a corps de ballet dancer and was engaged with SemperOper Ballett in Dresden from August 2017 to October 2018. In November 2018 Robin Strona returned to the Bayerisches Staatsballett as a corps de ballet dancer. At the beginning of season 2024/25, he was promoted to Demi-Soloist. In 2019, he completed a degree in sociology at the Università di Milano-Bicocca, graduating with distinction, based on a thesis with the title „The ballet dancer’s profession: a study inside a ballet company“.
